Job Title: Field Technician III
Overview:
- Technician will travel to each client’s location to provide service
- Must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots IT network appliances, Network cabling, Circuit testing, media displays | players, repairs desktops, laptops, servers, POS systems and printers
- Works under general supervision
- IMAC/D – Install, Move, Add & Change / decommission. Hand and Eyes Support, , breakfix maintenance activities, Site surveys and on-Site installation and Project work as requested through a Service Request
- Technicians will perform the maintenance, installation and testing of Equipment.
- Broad experience understanding of Networks, Servers, Smart Devices and Telecoms. All tasks should be completed in line with company technical and quality standards and procedures and to provide a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience supporting remote access, rack & server repairs | troubleshooting media players, display monitors, desktops, laptops, POS systems, Network | routers | Firewalls | switches, Cat5/Cat6 cabling | troubleshooting, MUST KNOW HOW TO USE Putty, Team Viewer, Microsoft Teams etc, and printers
- 3+ years of customer service experience required
- Ability to work weekends, staggered or late shifts possibly including evenings and/or weekends
- Interpersonal skills needed to interact with a wide range of users and environments
Must Haves:
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required (driving position – reimbursed accordingly)
- Fully Working laptop w/ethernet port (NO Chromebooks | Tablets)
- Required Tools – LIST PROVIDED DURING INTERVIEW
- Ability to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position
- Ability to work on a ladder or lift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Smartphone with tethering / hot spot capabilities (POST-PAID UNLIMITED TALK, TEXT & DATA PLAN REQUIRED)
- Working Laptop (NO CHROMEBOOKS, MACBOOKS or TABLETS) and Networking hand tools required
Preferred:
- CompTIA A+ | Network+ | Security + | certifications
- Network Certification - CCNA
- OEM Printer Warranty certifications
- OEM Laptop / Desktop Warranty certifications
- Server experience a Required
- POS experience Required
